Lichen Poem: Two-Timer

Two-Timer By Caden738

I help you, and believe you help me

I thought we had both our interests in mind

Then you pulled the carpet from underneath my feet

You stole something we hith worked for

I still want to trust you, and I want to believe it will not happen again

I don’t know however

I don’t know if you will do this again

You most likely will

I cannot believe you two-timed me

In the end I got screwed

I hope I don’t trust you next time

But the kindness of my soul may overwhelm me

If I destroy the kindness for just a day, it may leave forever

Just please don’t two-time me again
