Lichen Poem: Life’s A Country Song

Life’s A Country Song by Caden738

Bestfriend broke my leg with a wooden plank

Stole my card, drained my bank

Killed my dog

And then my car broke down

Him and my wife eloped, ‘n then skipped town

I guess that’s life in this little country county

Where everything you love has a bounty

Thank God yesterday is gone

Only today is a fact

Tomorrow is only a possibility

It’s been six months now

Lifes fine now

Got a new dog named luck

Got a brand new truck

But my house burned down

All that’s left is a mound

Little luck died in the fire

My truck got a flat tire

Guess my life is just a long country song

Thank God yesterday is gone

Only today is a fact

Tomorrow is only a possibility
