Lichen Poem: If Enough Will Stand

It begins to Race

Slowly picking up pace

A Snowball rolling down a hill in the snow

Gaining more as it starts to go

Building growing by every brick and stone

Infecting people so it is never alone

The fear that haunts it every days night

Is dying out alone; Losing the fight

It has the advantage, an Upper Hand

Yet it will lose if enough will stand
